Basketball Game Preview: Denver East Angels vs. Vista PEAK Prep Bison

The Denver East Angels will face off against the Vista PEAK Prep Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Denver East has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Denver East is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 71-46 margin over Chaparral on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Angels as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Vista PEAK Prep took a blow against Legend on Wednesday, falling 85-50. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Titans are ranked fourth).

Vista PEAK Prep has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Denver East, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-7.

Denver East didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Vista PEAK Prep in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win.
