Basketball Recap: Manhattan Christian Triumphs

After losing to White Sulphur Springs the last time they met, Manhattan Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Manhattan Christian Eagles came out on top against the White Sulphur Springs Hornets by a score of 48-41 on Monday.

Manhattan Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for White Sulphur Springs, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Manhattan Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Gardiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manhattan Christian is facing Gardiner at the right time seeing as Gardiner is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for White Sulphur Springs, they will take on Shields Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Shields Valley has four straight victories, White Sulphur Springs has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
