Baseball Recap: Page Takes a Loss

Page was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the Somerset Eagles.

Page saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Marriot, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Marriot's first of the season.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Somerset, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Page will venture away from home to face off against Northwest Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Page is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Somerset, they will head out to take on Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Somerset their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
