Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Dragons vs. Cocke County Fighting Cocks

Clinton heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Tuesday. The match between Clinton and Anderson County didn't end well, with Clinton falling 73-57. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Cocke County hadn't done well against Northview Academy recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cocke County slipped by Northview Academy 67-66. The win almost wasn't to be: the Fighting Cocks were down 50-35 in the third quarter.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Cocke County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-20.
