Baseball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Comes Up Short

Tabernacle Christian was the 22-13 winner over Scotland Christian Academy when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 9-5 to the Saints on Thursday.

Tabernacle Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gage Carpenter, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Carpenter is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Another was Caleb Wright, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Tabernacle Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Scotland Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Saints beat Tabernacle Christian by a score of 4-1 later that day.
