Softball Recap: Immaculate's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Immaculate can now relate to. They fell 6-1 to the North Branford Thunderbirds on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Immaculate saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Costa, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

With the defeat, Immaculate broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9. As for North Branford, they pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

As of now, neither Immaculate nor the Thunderbirds have any future games scheduled.
