Basketball Recap: Cumberland Comes Up Short

Cumberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triton Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-41 back in December of 2024.

Cumberland's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Triton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Cumberland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-36 defeat against Gloucester County Tech on the 23rd. As for Triton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-26 loss against Washington Township on the 23rd.
