Erin O'Day posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 20 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

Coming up, O'Day and Uxbridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Advanced Math & Science Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans have been struggling at home and they will enter the game having lost 12 straight home games dating back to last season.
