Baseball Recap: Waseca Takes a Loss

Waseca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 7-2 to the Worthington Trojans. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 7-3 to the Trojans when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Waseca's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Worthington, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waseca will challenge Fairmont at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Worthington, they will host Belle Plaine at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
