St. Joseph Christian won the last time they faced West Nodaway and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 2-0.

St. Joseph Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17.

Despite the loss, West Nodaway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Annalee Livengood had nine digs and four assists.

St. Joseph Christian picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 9-4-1. As for West Nodaway, they dropped their record down to 12-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

St. Joseph Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against East Buchanan on the 22nd. As for West Nodaway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against North Nodaway on the 23rd.
