Baseball Recap: Pleasant Home Comes Up Short

Pleasant Home lost against Goshen back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pleasant Home lost 11-1 to Goshen. Pleasant Home has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayce Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

Pleasant Home now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Goshen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Goshen, they will host Highland Home at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
