Volleyball Recap: Galena Beats Warren for Their Eighth Straight Win

Galena came tearing into Thursday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warren Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Galena not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Warren between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17.

Galena got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Ehrler out in front who had five aces, four digs, and two blocks. Ehrler is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 23 games she's played.

Galena's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Warren, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.
