East Brunswick's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Old Bridge Knights, sneaking past 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Knights last Tuesday, they had to take a 12-2 defeat.

Hayden Dziubeck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Joe Spinello was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ryan Kenul, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

The victory got East Brunswick back to even at 1-1. As for Old Bridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

East Brunswick has already played their next match, a 9-2 win against Monroe Township on the 4th. As for Old Bridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-6 defeat against Edison on the 5th.
