Basketball Recap: Union City Indians vs. Clinton Central Bulldogs

Union City lost against Clinton Central back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Union City Indians and the Clinton Central Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Union City Indians falling 40-22. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 159th).

Gabrielle Ordonez was Union City's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Campbell Kerns held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

It was another big night for Carly Davison, who went 8 of 12 on her way to 20 points along with seven boards and six assists for Clinton Central. That makes it three consecutive games in which Davison has scored at least a third of Clinton Central's points. As for Clinton Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-47 win against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on the 4th.
