Softball Recap: Frostproof Takes a Loss

Frostproof lost against Avon Park back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs lost 13-4 to the Red Devils. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frostproof saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Tary, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Jennah Harrel also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Frostproof's record now sits at 4-12. As for Avon Park, they moved to 9-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Frostproof is taking a road trip to challenge Venice at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Avon Park, they will take on DeSoto County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
