Basketball Recap: Monta Vista Takes a Loss

Monta Vista suffered their closest loss since January 18, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Lynbrook Vikings by a score of 65-63. The Matadors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Monta Vista has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for Lynbrook, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monta Vista will face off against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lynbrook, they will take on Santa Clara at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
