Volleyball Recap: East Noble Takes a Loss

East Noble lost against Angola back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Hornets. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-5, 25-17.

Isabelle Leffers paced East Noble's offense, picking up four kills. Leffers got some help from Alyssa Desper and her seven assists. Finally, Carys Shire kept East Noble's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Angola can attribute much of their success to Mady Conrad, who had ten digs and two aces.

East Noble's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Angola, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

East Noble didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Churubusco on the 23rd. As for Angola, they will head out to challenge Fort Wayne Snider at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
