Basketball Game Preview: St. Henry Crusaders vs. Bellevue Tigers

The St. Henry Crusaders will venture away from home to face off against the Bellevue Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

St. Henry is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bishop Brossart just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 54-35 bruising from the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bellevue, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-48 win over Beechwood on Tuesday.

Bellevue's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for St. Henry, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

St. Henry came up short against Bellevue when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 59-55. Can St. Henry avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
