Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Blazers vs. Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack

Trinity hasn't had much luck against Saint Ignatius College Prep recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Last Tuesday, Trinity was able to grind out a solid victory over DePaul College Prep, taking the game 57-49. That's two games straight that the Blazers have won by exactly eight points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saint Ignatius College Prep). They enjoyed a cozy 76-59 win over Aurora Central Catholic on Tuesday.

Trinity is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Trinity suffered a grim 63-42 defeat to Saint Ignatius College Prep in their previous meeting back in January. Can Trinity avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
