Irwin County lost to Crisp County back in February of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Indians never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Irwin County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by four goals or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Irwin County and bumps their season record up to 12-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Crisp County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Irwin County and Crisp County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Indians see the pitch they'll take on Bleckley County at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Crisp County, their break will end when they face Berrien at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th.
