After flying high against Mountain View on Friday, Timpanogos came back down to earth. The Timberwolves fell just short of the West Jordan Jaguars by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Timberwolves' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carter Hall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Timpanogos' loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for West Jordan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Timpanogos will be playing in front of their home fans against West Field at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Timberwolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Jordan, they will head out on the road to face off against Kearns at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
