Middlesex won the last time they faced Perth Amboy and things went their way on Friday too. The Bluejays blew past the Panthers 10-1. Considering the Bluejays have won six games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Middlesex and bumps their season record up to 8-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Perth Amboy, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middlesex will welcome Sayreville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluejays are facing the Bombers at the right time seeing as the Bombers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Perth Amboy, they will host Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Minutemen's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
