While Sycamore's win against Hamilton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Aviators sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Big Blue on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Aviators have posted since April 6, 2024.

Sycamore has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Hamilton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sycamore will head out to square off against Mason at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Comets will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Aviators surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hamilton, they will venture away from home to challenge Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
