Beckville extended their postseason success on Thursday against Hemphill. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 5-1. Winning may never get old, but the Bearcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Aiden Brantley was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Braxton Bullock, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Beckville's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hemphill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-17.
