Football Recap: Veribest Takes a Loss

Veribest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 54-8 defeat at the hands of the Bronte Longhorns. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 46 points.

Veribest's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bronte, the victory (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Veribest will head out to take on Baird at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bronte, they will face off against Menard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
