Holmes is 10-0 against Camden County since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Holmes Aces will head out to take on the Camden County Bruins at 6:00 p.m. Camden County took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Holmes, who comes in off a win.

Holmes took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Tuesday. They escaped with a win against Pasquotank County by the margin of a single free throw, 41-40.

Meanwhile, Camden County and Hertford County faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Thursday. Camden County fell to Hertford County 39-33. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Holmes, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.

Holmes came out on top in a nail-biter against Camden County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 48-45. Will Holmes repeat their success, or does Camden County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
