Baseball Game Preview: Rudyard Bulldogs vs. Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals

The Rudyard Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Rudyard fell victim to Gaylord and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, Johannesburg-Lewiston also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 3-0 to Inland Lakes on Thursday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johannesburg-Lewiston now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rudyard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Rudyard's way against Johannesburg-Lewiston when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Rudyard made off with a 16-2 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
