Softball Recap: Iberia Rangers vs. Vienna Eagles
Vienna typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Iberia proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Vienna Eagles. That's two games straight that the Rangers have won by exactly five runs.
Jaylyn Piggott made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Piggott was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
