The Mineral County Serpents will face off against the Pyramid Lake Lakers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Mineral County turned things around against Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage on Friday. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Serpents yet this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Pyramid Lake got the win against Excel Christian on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Lakers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Pyramid Lake walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-12.

Pyramid Lake's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Mineral County, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-17.
