If Clearwater Central Catholic wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bell Creek Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Lyrique Sartin. The Bell Creek Academy Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders 67-64 thanks to Sartin, who went 9-for-18 on his way to 30 points and six assists. The contest was his 25th in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylan Johnson, who posted six points. Johnson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

The win (which was Bell Creek Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 17-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-8.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in First Baptist Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. Clearwater Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
