Football Game Preview: Rogue River Chieftains vs. Lost River Raiders + How To Watch

Rogue River is 0-4 against Lost River since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Chieftains will venture away from home to square off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Rogue River turned things around against St. Mary's on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 65-42 margin over the Crusaders. The Chieftains' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Lost River faced Culver in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raiders blew past the Bulldogs 36-12. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Rogue River better keep an eye on Kyle Diaz. He was instrumental in Lost River's win, rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 174 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes.

Lost River didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Caleb Dejong and Diaz.

Rogue River's record now sits at 2-3. As for Lost River, their record is now 4-1.

Rogue River took a serious blow against Lost River in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 42-8. Can the Chieftains avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
