Football Recap: Manatee Skates Past Hollins with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Manatee had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Hollins Royals, posting a 33-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hurricanes needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Manatee's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Hollins, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, Manatee will take on Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hurricanes 6.9, the Mustangs 10) so any points scored will be well earned. Hollins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
