The Lakeview Sailors will venture away from home to  face off against the Saegertown Panthers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lakeview comes in on four and Saegertown on seven.
Last Wednesday, Lakeview made easy work of Cambridge Springs  and carried off  an  11-1 victory. The Sailors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten  runs or more this season.
 Parker Montgomery was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Owen Dye looked comfortable as he  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.

 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Garet Guthrie, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Leyton Zacherl, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
 Lakeview  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cambridge Springs only posted  an  OBP of  .143.
Meanwhile, Saegertown got the win against Rocky Grove  on Tuesday by a conclusive  15-3. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten  runs or more this season.
 Everett Gardner made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Gardner was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Saegertown got a  massive  performance out of  Blake Burchill, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.  Wyatt Burchill was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Lakeview's win was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Saegertown, their record now sits at 7-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Lakeview has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.2  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Saegertown struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 6.4  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Lakeview took their  win against Saegertown  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2019 by a conclusive  18-8 score. Do  the Sailors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
