Bishop Verot had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Gateway Charter Griffins on Friday as the Bishop Verot Vikings made off with a 55-30 win. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Bishop Verot's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron O'Halloran, who went 9 of 14 on her way to 27 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. The match was O'Halloran's seventh in a row with at least 17 points. Caroline Ward was another key player, going 6 for 15 en route to 18 points along with six boards and five assists.

Bishop Verot pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points over those games. As for Gateway Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

As of now, neither Bishop Verot nor Gateway Charter have any future games scheduled.
