Soccer Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic lost against South Fork back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Atlantic Eagles fell 2-0 to the South Fork Bulldogs.

Atlantic now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for South Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlantic will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for South Fork, they and Lincoln Park Academy will meet in a canine-themed contest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. South Fork will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
