Basketball Game Preview: Garrison Troopers vs. New England Tigers

The Garrison Troopers will venture away from home to square off against the New England Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Garrison is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Berthold just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 51-42 to the Bombers. The loss was the Troopers' first of the season.

Meanwhile, New England lost to Killdeer at home by a 47-33 margin on Thursday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Garrison fell to 4-1. As for New England, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Garrison beat New England 52-39 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garrison since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
