While Waverly's win against Northwest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Mohawks 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Waverly in their matchups with Northwest: they've now won six in a row.

Leah Walters and Allison Acord scored both of Waverly's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-12. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
