Basketball Recap: Apache Drops Season-High Score on Cement

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apache). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Cement Bulldogs 72-23. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 334th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Apache is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Cement, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Apache wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-40 loss against Mountain View-Gotebo on the 25th. As for Cement, they will venture away from home to face off against Dove Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
