Basketball Recap: Danville Triumphs

Cold Springs typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Danville proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 55-51 win over the Cold Springs Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2018.

Despite the loss, Cold Springs still got an impressive performance from Kenady Graves, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 15 points and five assists. Graves continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Ella Dickerson was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Danville and bumps their season record up to 18-6. As for Cold Springs, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.

Danville will venture away from home to challenge Good Hope at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Cold Springs, they will host Falkville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cold Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season.
