Basketball Recap: Gallatin Takes a Loss

Gallatin lost against Green City back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gallatin Bulldogs took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green City Gophers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Green City to victory were Macy Jeffries and Jaryn Hatcher. Jeffries went 10 of 17 en route to 25 points and five rebounds, while Hatcher dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. The matchup was Hatcher's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alexa Lee, who posted six points.

Gallatin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Green City, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Gallatin will be playing in front of their home fans against South Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green City, they will venture away from home to face off against Braymer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
