Softball Recap: Thrasher Comes Up Short

Thrasher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Wheeler Eagles. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Rebels couldn't push the score so high this time.

Thrasher's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Wheeler, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Thrasher will square off against rival Tupelo Christian Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wheeler is set to challenge their familiar foe Biggersville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
