 Glenbard North entered their tilt with Wheaton-Warrenville South with four consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with five. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers  6-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Glenbard North also won the last time the pair played  back in April.
 The team  relied heavily on  Tru Medina, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Brigid Rogers, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases.
 On Wheaton-Warrenville South's side,  Maddie Pool was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She  pitched six innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Pool was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Nelia Kirichun made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Glenbard North is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record  this season. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
