Football Recap: Aquinas Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Aquinas faced off against La Sierra on Tuesday. The Falcons were just a hair shy of victory and fell 8-7 to the Eagles. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aquinas now has a losing record of 1-2. As for La Sierra, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Aquinas will venture away from home to square off against Ontario Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for La Sierra, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista del Lago at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
