Volleyball Recap: Roanoke Rapids Falls Despite Big Games from Emilee Campbell and Noelle Moore + How To Watch

Roanoke Rapids was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Nash Central Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Roanoke Rapids was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-13.

Noelle Moore and Emilee Campbell certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Moore had 22 digs, while Campbell had eight assists and seven digs. Camille Myrick Laureano also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Roanoke Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Nash Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Roanoke Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Louisburg on the 7th. As for Nash Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bunn on the 7th.
