It's playoff time, and St. Johns Country Day had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the First Coast Christian Knights on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

St. Johns Country Day's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for First Coast Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

St. Johns Country Day will venture away from home to take on Christ's Church Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last eight games. First Coast Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
