Basketball Recap: Illini West Comes Up Short

Illini West lost against Macomb back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Illini West Chargers took a 68-49 bruising from the Macomb Bombers. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Illini West's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Macomb, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Coming up, Illini West will be playing at home against Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Macomb does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
