Softball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost against Southeast back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Leopards came up short against the Pirates, falling 13-3.

Liberty has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Southeast, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Liberty by a score of 2-0 later that day.
