Basketball Recap: Wayne Hills Victorious

After losing to Ramapo the last time they met, Wayne Hills decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wayne Hills Patriots walked away with a 40-30 victory over the Ramapo Raiders on Saturday. The 40-point effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aj Greig, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Charlie Wingfield, who earned five points and 16 rebounds.

Wayne Hills now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ramapo, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Wayne Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 42-41 loss against Dwight-Englewood on the 29th. As for Ramapo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-37 win against Hightstown on the 4th.
