Lone Star took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wray Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Longhorns have posted against the Eagles since October 12, 2019.

Lone Star wouldn't go down easily and took Wray into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-23, 25-9, 21-25, 15-5.

Coming up, Lone Star will challenge Caliche at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wray, they are taking a road trip to take on Otis at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
