They skirted past Lisbon 51-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Central Cass has posted yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Lisbon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kyra Haecherl. Despite the final result, she shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Haecherl has scored all season. Emerson Schultz was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds.
Central Cass' win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lisbon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Central Cass will be playing at home against Kindred at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Lisbon, they will head out on the road to square off against Northern Cass at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
